[정답 및 해설]
1. 전치사 at의 목적어는 him이 아니라 using이다. 동명사의 의미상 주어는 소유격 혹은 목적격을 사용한다. 문제처럼 의미상 주어가 대명사인 경우, 소유격을 사용한다. 따라서 him을 his로 고쳐야 한다.
2. 복문구조에서 문제처럼 대명사가 나온 경우 종속절의 주어와 주절의 주어가 일치하는 지 혹은 바뀌었는 지 체크해야 한다. 종속절의 주어 3인칭 단수 the average person이 주절의 they로 바뀌었다. they를 he 혹은 she로 고쳐야 한다.
